Last night Colin Powell visited Purdue and gave a very unsurprising and very by the book speech. As a means of protest, we handed out flyers discussing Colin Powell's part in involving the United States in this quagmire that is now in Iraq. The more interesting things of the night happened not in the speech, but with what happened as we handed out fliers. As I finished up handing out the flyers, a girl came up to me and the following exchange took place.
She said "what you are doing is so rude!"
My reply was, "well, killing people is rude as well."
Her reply to that was "What?! That doesn't even make any sense!"
Mhm...enough said
