Memory

When I was a little boy, most of my summers(all of them actually) were spent in Alabama with my grandmother and most of my summer afternoons were spent at the aging center with my grandmother and Earl. Everyday we would pack into my grandmother's white car and head off to the Harvest house. They would stop and buy me a nasty old sausage biscuit from Hardees which would be my lunch for the day. I so remember always wanting to have whatever they had for lunch(they ate whatever the aging center served). After lunch, I would wander into the very elegant drawing room and play checkers or dominoes with Cousin Adolph after which I would go outside and play Cinderella or something by the porch bannisters until time to go back home.
