Patti Labelle is one of my favorite singers-behind Barbra, but right behind her--in a tier shared only by Nina Simone. Everytime I am home I pick up her Patti's Pearls, which either my mother or sister bought. It is a great little book. I have read quite a few of her books. Loved, Don't Block the Blessing. Thank you, Patti for such beautiful stuff. This time when I pick up that book, I'm taking it with me.
