Pete O'Neal of Tanzania

Tom Joyner's Little Known Black History Fact this morning was about Pete O'Neal, a member of the Black Panther Party and an american exile in Tanzania. He now manufactures mustard and makes Kansas-city style barbecue from his home in Tanzania. Mr. O'neal was railroaded into a conviction back in the 1970s when he purchased a gun in one part of Kansas City and took it to his home in another part of the city. He is doing very well today and hosts a program which takes at-risk inner city youth from Kansas City and afford them trips to Tanzania to experience the life and culture.
