Gloria Steinem and Melissa Harris Lacewell Debate Race and Gender Issues Between Clinton and Obama
I so love it that Gloria Steinem's analysis and my own--which I gave in the post found here are so in sync--although she is supporting Hillary and I am supporting Barak. I think Gloria does make some importaint points in this debate while Harris-Lacewell ignores the fact that Black men sat in both houses of Congress from the time they got the vote until well after Reconstruction(holding on with just one and then a few). The totem pole cannot be denied.... Overall, I think this was a very intriguing debate.
