I Am Encouraged

There are thousands in the streets in Mar Del Plata, Argentina protesting Bush's presence there. God, they have more freedom than we do. I hope they do something to him. Viva Argentina! Viva Chavez!! I am also quite enthralled by the riots in Paris. For ages and ages, the French treated their immigrant/colored populations like rubbish and now they are experiencing the Backlash. It is interesting, and something I think everyone should note: Be aware of the way poverty and oppression travels and migrates....in the United States, poverty is in the urban areas---decrepit schools and housing in what Cornel West calls Chocolate Cities....in Europe, they keep their poor in the suburbs, on the outskirts of the city. Oh the time when there shall be an uprising among the impoverished classes.....
