I am reading Anais Nin's Diary(31-34) and I am loving Anais Nin's diary. I am June. Completely and thoroughly. Alas, her relationship with June so reflects something of what I had with Charles.

Not many people would volunteer the fact that they identify with June. How much have you read? Are you reading the unexpurgated, or the classic version? I'm an Anais fan and a writer myself...

Ah that sounds delightful. What do you write? I must admit I am just into the first twenty or so pages of the book. I am reading the version edited by and with the introction by Gunther Stuhlmann.

I think that June had a personality. I believe that she refused to be boxed and demanded the right to define herself, as is what integrity is all about. I feel that she felt too strongly to be hemmed in by any forms of hegemony or restricted by anyone's imposed definitions. I think that she was free and I think that she lived her life in a beautiful way. She created her own realities....refusing to let anyone else define or provide definitions for her.
